Why UGC is broken

Most brands pay twice for content they can't even use.

Here's the typical UGC mess: you brief an agency. They cast creators. Creators sign a usage agreement that covers organic social only — paid media costs another $400 per asset. Two months in, a creator you used in a Meta ad asks for an extension fee. Three months in, another creator deletes their account and you're panicking because the asset is live in a campaign spending $5K/day. The root cause isn't the creators — it's that rights are negotiated separately from content production. Briefing happens first, rights happen later, and the only leverage you have after the shoot is to pay more. We flipped that order.
